We believe that the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and final authority in all matters of faith and life. The Bible is fully sufficient, written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and free from error in its original writings. All truth is measured by it, and it remains the unchanging foundation for doctrine, practice, and defence of the faith.
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each Person is equal in power and glory, and together they share the same divine nature. God is the Creator of heaven and earth, sovereign over all things, and worthy of all worship, love, and obedience.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the eternal Son of God who became man, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a perfect and complete sacrifice for the sins of all humanity, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven, where He now serves as our High Priest, Advocate, and coming King.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ. No human effort or good work can earn salvation. All who truly repent and trust in Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit, justified before God, adopted as His children, and eternally secure in Him.
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe, and indwells, guides, and empowers believers for godly living and faithful service. He also equips the Church with spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ and the defence of the Gospel.
We believe that the Church, composed of all born-again believers, is the body and bride of Christ. Its local expression is the assembly of baptised believers who gather for worship, fellowship, teaching, prayer, and the observance of the ordinances—believers’ baptism and the Lord’s Supper. The Church’s mission is to proclaim the Gospel to all nations and to make disciples who live and speak the truth of Scripture.
We believe in a dispensational understanding of God’s plan through history, recognising distinct periods in which God relates to humanity in specific ways while maintaining His unchanging purpose of redemption through Christ. We affirm the literal and premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will rapture His Church before the Great Tribulation, return to establish His millennial kingdom, and finally bring about the new heaven and new earth.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved—the saved to everlasting life and joy in the presence of God, and the unsaved to everlasting separation and punishment.
We believe that the Christian life should be marked by holiness, humility, love, and truth. Every believer is called to defend the faith with gentleness and respect, using sound reasoning, historical evidence, and the testimony of Scripture to point others to the saving knowledge of Christ.
We believe that the ultimate purpose of all creation, all redemption, and all ministry is the glory of God through the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be honour, praise, and dominion for ever.
